Craft Beer Festival 2013
Craft Beer Festival 2013

Sep 14, 2013 - Sep 14, 2013

The Family Arena’s Second Annual Craft Beer Festival is happening Saturday, September 14. Right now we’re looking for local and regional breweries to take part. If you’re interested in participating please contact Tom O'Keefe at tokeefe@familyarena.com.

Craft beer is made using a traditional process of blending the sugars from malted grains (such as barley or wheat), with hop flowers and water. The skill of the Masterbrewer brings out the desired aroma, color, mouth feel, foam and flavor qualities of the hops and malt through formulation of recipes and the fermentation of sugars into alcohol, carbon dioxide gas and other characters. After careful aging at just the right temperatures the beer is packaged and delivered to the consumer.

The pay-one-price admission includes souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy 2 oz. samples from any exhibiting brewery. There will be plenty of water and food available for purchase, special demonstrations and entertaining programs. If you love great beer, this is the festival for you.

There will be two separate sessions for this event. Session #1 will run from 11am to 3:30pm. Session #2 will run from 5pm to 9pm. Tickets are $25 through September 8th and $30 beginning September 9th. A separate ticket is required for each event.

This is a 21+ event. All attendees must show valid photo I.D at the door. You must be 21 or older to attend this event—this includes designated drivers. No Exceptions! Please drink responsibly.
